New artists’ photos shot exclusively for the 3rd EP “ZIPANGRIMM” set for release on June 24, 2026 (Wed.) have been released! In addition, the full tracklist and cover photo for the EP have also been unveiled!
These artist photos feature a glamorous base of red and flowers, expressing the world of the new EP “ZIPANGRIMM”. Designed to match each member’s unique character, the costumes blend current trends with the traditional beauty of Japanese culture, a defining trademark of ZIPANG OPERA, creating a refined and sophisticated concept.
Also announced alongside the release details, the EP will feature eight tracks created through extensive discussions and working with relentless effort, centered around member spi, who has been fully involved in the production process for this project. In addition to “Kick It Down,” which was digitally released in January this year and served as the theme song for the stage production “2.5 BILLION SECONDS TRIP” written and directed by Ryuji Sato, “Rainy Heart,” the ending theme for “Shitsuren Karuta” which was aired on MBS/TBS Dramaism, along with six previously unreleased new tracks: “Lily of the Valley,” “Rev It Up,” “Rock Your Body,” “Slip Away,” “In the Zone,” and “Echoes,” resulting in a work that could only be expressed by the uniquely distinctive ZIPANG OPERA.
Additionally, ahead of the EP release and upcoming live tour, a live show video of the acoustic ver. of “Rainy Heart,” which was digitally released in advance in April, has been released! Before the start of the “ZIPANG OPERA 2nd Tour 2026 ~ZIPANGRIMM~” in June, this serves as a rare opportunity to experience their performance. The live show video of the acoustic ver. of “Rainy Heart” will be released on May 12 (Tue.) at 20:00 on the official ZIPANG OPERA YouTube channel, so be sure to check it out!
