CrazyBoy’s first original album “HIP LIFE : POP LIFE” containing completely new songs will be released on 1/21/2022 (Fri.)! It perfectly shows the balance between the core musicality of hip hop, which is the origin of ELLY as a solo artist “CrazyBoy”, and his second side as a pop star which is his life-long career!
The album contains songs created together with artists from all over the world who are also CrazyBoy’s friends!
It includes an R&B song “Damn Girl (feat. Jackson Wang)” which features Jackson Wang who is a former member of the popular K-pop group “GOT7” and who leads “TEAM WANG” as a solo artist,
songs featuring MC TYSON, a leading figure of the hip hop circle in Kansai who has been selected as “GQ MEN OF THE YEAR 2021”, and Yo-Sea who is the winner of “Spotify Early Noise Artist 2019”!
In addition, michico, a singer and music producer from Giant Swing Productions, has participated in the production of a new song which uses a sample of EXILE’s “Fly Away”! This album contains many notable songs!
Moreover, T.Kura from Giant Swing Productions who has produced many famous songs serves as the sound producer of the entire album. It is an excellent work which both features CrazyBoy’s traditional hip hop style and shows a new side of him as a singer.
This album contains 13 songs including the track by CrazyBoy’s ally NAKKID who serves as a DJ on his live shows!
Moreover, the song “Damn Girl (feat. Jackson Wang)” from this album topped iTunes charts in Singapore (ranked 1st overall & 1st on the Hip-Hop/Rap chart), Argentina (ranked 1st overall & 1st on the Hip-Hop/Rap chart), Fiji (ranked 1st overall), Thailand (ranked 1st overall & 1st on the Hip-Hop/Rap chart) and Hong Kong (ranked 1st on the Hip-Hop/Rap chart) from 1/21 (Fri.) to 1/22 (Sat.)!
It ranked 16th (in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan) upon its first arrival to Weibo’s Fresh Asia Music chart of Weibo. It ranked 10th on the fastest rising chart of NetEase Cloud Music and 24th on the fastest rising chart of QQ music. The song is spreading all over the world and especially in Asia!
