BILLY LAURENT is a rapper born in 1997. He came to Tokyo from Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture and made his debut with his 1st EP “BLUE MOON” released in 2018. The music video for “Blue Moon feat. CHICO CARLITO” has achieved the record of 200 thousand views and presents an emotional world with City Pop.
Then, he released 3 EPs and collaborated with other artists many times. His catchy melodies and dynamic word choice close to young people enable him to gain enthusiastic support mainly among his generation.
He started to release a single every month from the end of 2021. Singles such as “I LIKE IT feat. BBY NABE” and “CHODAI feat. VILLSHANA & $HOR1 WINBOY” have aroused heated discussions mainly on TikTok.
He serves as a radio MC with singer KAHOH on “WREP 6”, a signature program of the special HIP HOP radio station “WREP”, from 18:00 every Thursday.
